Three Quarter Comics was founded
in 2009 by Christopher and Wendell Riley. After co- founding Electro-Arc Comics in 1999 Chris created and
established Terror of the Midnight Robber as the most popular and successful comic franchise in Trinidad and Tobago history.
Wendell joined the Electro-Arc team in 1999 and co-plots and scripts Terror of the Midnight Robber. Three
Quarter Comics was founded in the same independent spirit of creator-owned properties. The Three Quarter
team is committed to producing some of the most daring, exciting and original work in the industry.
Creator Biographies
Wendell
Riley hails from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
Fed a steady diet of comics, movies and Stephen King novels in his formative
years, Wendell began working on Terror of the Midnight Robber while still in college. He
is currently the head writer at Three Quarter Comics and continues his work on TOMR, Southern Exposure and Mango Chil'ren
along with chronicling the weekly misadventures of Maggie Schmidt for Hip & Single.
Christopher
Riley began his comic book career with short stints in the animation industry
in New York and doing ink assists for Marvel
Comics. He returned to Trinidad and Tobago determined
to help develop the local comic scene and created Terror of the Midnight Robber. Chris
oversees the creative direction of Three Quarter Comics, and currently handles the visual work on TOMR, Maggie Schmidt, Mango
Chil'ren and Southern Exposure.
